Quick Way to Recover from a Force Shutdown?

I was installing Skylands for Minecraft, and I decided to use the Skylands Password User.exe or whatever it's called.
I have discovered these passwords in Daenth's server, so don't call me a cheater.
After clicking it, my computer got quite slow. I exited it, hoping it would fix my performance. Slowly, one by one, my programs would stop responding.
I had to force-shutdown, since regular shut down wouldn't do anything for me..
Any quick way to recover from this?

Go to the Task Manager and see if any process is taking too much memory.
Post the highest memory process here so I can brown townyse it.

Google Chrome, apparently. 44,248K
Other than Chrome, it's Desktop Window Manager. 8,264K

Download HiJackThis then run the .exe file and do a scan.
Post HiJackThis' log here.
You may also try deleting junk from your computer using the Crap Cleaner (a.k.a. CCleaner).

I also noticed you are using three chrome processes.
Instead of opening three chrome windows, try using chrome's tabs feature.
If everything else fails, use System Restore.

The TAB feature opens another process for some odd reason.
One tab is a process, then there's a host process. So 5 tabs = 6 processes.

No, installing HiJackThis.
Some information: I have force-shutdown before, but it took about a 12-hour period for the computer to fully refresh.
I made this topic if there was a way to do it within about a 1-2 hour period.
