Author Topic: Converting Google sketchup to Blender or other program  (Read 696 times)

I can make way better Models in Google Sketchup, But i dont know how to put them nto blender or any other program. Is this possible? If it is will it work? Will it get messed up when i move it into another program. and will it still be able to be turned into a real Add On?

Can Sketchup export to .obj?
Most modeling programs I've used (including Blender) can import .obj format.

I heard you can load it in google earth or something

and then export as something

and it's basically a .zip with textures and a .obj

Thanks ill have to give it a try.

I exported it as .dea and i could import it to blender as that format. But i have to install te full version of python.
