Author Topic: Good headset for ≈$40?  (Read 671 times)

Title says it all, I'm thinking about getting a headset mic and was wondering if there were any good ones for around 40 dollars. I'm not asking for some super-high quality mic, just one that sounds okay and would last a while.

Good quality, lasts a while. And you can get it near the gaming section of your local Walmart.

USB?
I don't know much about mics, what's the difference between USB and non-USB?

Noted.

computers have jacks for microphones and headphones, but all the headsets I've had use USB

This isn't very different from the one MrMulch linked, but it's worth it if you're willing to pay the extra $10. I use this and the sound quality is great for how cheap it is.

USB headsets generally have better sound quality. The headset I linked to has both regular jacks and a USB adapter.
