The combat knife is actually useful. On Galaxion's server, whenever I run out of ammo I swap to it and go on a rampage. Sometimes I use it when I see an enemy go around a corner, and it usually works.

I don't see how you could justify anymore than two hits with a knife, who could aim that poorly.

Also, if you just make everything realistic, nothing will be overpowered.
