Author Topic: What's a Good Scripting Language to Learn?  (Read 1336 times)

tC, LUA, vb, c++, jquery, php?

I tried C++, but that's just too hard.

I tried Java, but it's too hard and I had compiler problems.

All I can think of now is ActionScript (Flash), or Game Maker, but Game Maker is for games only. :/

Edit: I prefer one that uses functions, HOWEVER, I do not mind other types.
Care to elaborate?

tC,Link?
LUA, Meh.  Only use I find for it is Gmod (Again, imo).
vb, Know it.
c++, Maybe, maybe...
 jquery, I'll consider it.
php? That's for websites.

Care to elaborate?
I installed Java JDK, and I type javac in command prompt, but it says it isn't a valid command.

I think you may need the Java Runtime Environment too, and I can give you link you to a good java coding program, if you want.

Learn Perl or Unix. I recommend learning Unix first though.

PYTHON
Seems good.
Only problem is that to make games, I need blender.
And that's like piloting a spaceship.

Ti-basic
If you have a ti-84 calculator that is an excellent programming thingymabob
