ANGRY MEALS

COMES WITH FIREARM
Your avatar matches everything you say.

You guys ever taken classes on psychology? Younger kids are easily influenced by ads for toys like these on tvs. This law is most likely for kids that are 10 years old or less. The problem isn't that parents are just letting their kids get these meals, it's that the toys encourage the kids to want these meals (aka bug their parents into getting them.)

The city's board of supervisors votes to forbid restaurants from giving away toys with meals that have high levels of calories, sugar and fat.
JUST TAKE AWAY THE TOY, AND CALL IT A NOT-SO-HAPPY-MEAL

JUST TAKE AWAY THE TOY, AND CALL IT A NOT-SO-HAPPY-MEAL

sad meal :(
contains some fries, a birger and no toys

This is like people banning stuff from TV because kids watched it because their parents don't give a stuff. San Fransisco is officially a stuff city on my list.
It could be worse. Where in LA they halted the construction of fast food joints in Lowerworking class neighborhoods,  but the fast food companies were allowed to still build in the richer areas of town. Atleast the kids can develop healthier eating habits.

all i have to say is Michigan even with its crap economy (I know because i live there)IS BETTER THAN CALIFORNIA

I can finally say that

Be a stuffty parent.
Let state raise kid.

I agree with the ban of toys. By giving away free toys with meals, you're teaching (very impressionable) kids that they should be rewarded for eating unhealthy foods. It promotes a more health conscious generation, and hopefully that will rub off on their kids' kids as well. If the parent wants their kid to have toys, they can buy them separately.

That sounds good to me. Poor neighborhoods do not need more garbage food. It's a well known problem that those people have very limited access to healthy foods in their neighborhoods.
