Author Topic: [Tutorial]Importing Anim8or Models and Exporting as DTS!  (Read 2571 times)

First off, open up Anim8or and make your model.

"It's an apple."

Next, go to Object > Export.

Then, save it as 3D Studio 3ds.

Now, open up Milkshape (or Blender) and import your model.

Now export is as .dts.

There you go, you are now able to import the model via mission editor or addon.

Enjoy.

Horrendous model.

Horrendous program.

Horrendous stuff.

Horrendous model.  I made it in like, 2 minutes.

Horrendous program. It was made in 2007 by one person in his free time.

Horrendous stuff. Read above.

lolo You forgot to rotate it in Milkshape. Now it is going to come out sideways. :/

People can learn that themselves.

People can learn that themselves.
That is pretty ironic isn't it? People can easily learn this themselves, so if anyone is stupid enough to need this, it is likely they might need to know how to rotate in Milkshape. (If you do it incorrectly, this will stop being funny.)

I'm pretty sure that anyone that models knows that you're supposed to rotate it.
That's all I'm trying to say.

Edit: And if they don't know they should rotate it, then they can figure it out or they shouldn't be modeling in the first place!

Can you name at least 5 people who use anim8tor for their blockland addons?
