Medics are regular soldiers that have training in first aid. Other wise they are no different then infantry men except for their expertise.

I'm sure every soldier gets first aid training bro :) it's kind of a necessity in the military. Medics know a little more than first aid ;)

They do.  It's called CLS - Combat Life Saver.  A very simplified version of what medics get.  It's a basic soldier skill.
