Why do so many people sneak vodka into soda, I'd think it makes it taste horriable enough that'd you just drink both separate.

Depends on what kind of soda. Cola is good with vodka, but it's cola is horrible with whiskey.
Dry gin is mixed with lemonade only. Tastes stuff otherwise.

See, you've got to know the combonations!
