Author Topic: Youtube is a Malware site?  (Read 744 times)

What is this?

It happened on the Opera web browser, anyone else got this or anything?

Funny story.

My brother's friend was on Youtube on my bro's computer, and sudden malware popped up and pretty well destroyed most system functionality of the computer.

Avast was unable to repair the files, even after I removed every possible infected file.

On a side note, Metal is quite gay.

becuase someone downloads some fake stuff, then goes to youtube, discovers virus then goes
“OMG UTUB HAV VIRUS I REPOT WEBSIT FOR VIRUZ”

You can ask a couple of my friends, they also say it's like this.

its exactly what I said, people download stupid stuff then think its from youtube so they report youtube to thier anti-virus company and the website gets a big fat warning over nothing

My brother isn't handicapped and his friend ONLY went on youtube. This friend is too stupid to clear anything specific, and I even checked "Recently closed tabs/windows"
The only thing he went on was Youtube.

Opera isn't an anti-virus.
It's a web browser.

perhaps youtube got stupid and allowed its advertisers to create an invasive malware ad?

This seems to happen only on the main Youtube page.

I use Youtube XL most of the time, there's no ads on it so I think I'm unaffected.
