What what the forget. A week? Once a kid in our school stayed off two months for it. Then again, he was known to fake being sick/injured a lot.
A week's the longest I've been out of school for medical reasons. I've only been out of school a couple times from sickness besides them. But yeah, a week. But the doctors told me that I got soooo lucky when my appendix burst because it had a high chance of killing me. Who knew what good a little bit of fat can do... :P
God I love near-death situations :D
