Visible light thing sounds good to me. The game is fun as it is, if all you enjoy is some cheap novelty feature every version then why do you even play Blockland.

There are hundreds of maps to chose from already, I'm not really understanding the attraction beyond "OMG BADPSOT MADE IT ITS COO!!".

The only maps i have used are Slate edits.

There hasnt been a good map in awhile.
