Even if you set that higher it still limits you to 20.

You can't. You used to be able to, but Badspot made it so you can't.

That's kind of stupid... what about those epic dogfights and things that need it?

I know that some servers do go over 20... take Kalphiter's (Jorgur's) Dogfight server, for instance.
