Rear View Mirror - Why is it allowed?

I don't think you can lump an aimbot in with a rear view mirror. They're two very different things and in most situations a rear view mirror isn't going to do much to give anyone an advantage. I don't think it's worth making a big fuss over really.

It does give people an advantage and it is a problem.

Recently, I've been seeing the rear view mirror showing up in various screenshots.

This rear view mirror is a tool used to gain an unfair advantage in minigames.
If the aimbot and such were not allowed, why is this?

The rear view mirror puts another view on the screen which displays whats behind the user.

And how often are you sneaking up behind people in deathmatches? I've never seen a blockland DM that consisted of much other than jumping around with rocket launchers. Again, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I can't see it being something that's actively ruining deathmatches, despite this melodramatic thread.
