That's the point, he's lying about what happened to make his parents look like the bad guys.
Usually me and my family have no problem with each other; but I have made it clear HUNDREDS of times to NOT CLEAN MY ROOM. They ask me, I'll do it no problem, and I've discussed it with them to not go in my room for my own personal reasons. They usually respect that, but then my mother comes in, throws out a load of boxes and stuff that I planned on keeping for different things.
Here's the exact conversation more or less.

Myself: Mom, why the hell did you throw out all my boxes and stuff? I needed them to keep my graphics card in and stuff!
Mother: Oh, I thought they were rubbish.
Myself: *sighs* I've told you to stay out of my room, and that's why, OK? Just don't go in and clean it, you know that REALLY pisses me off.
Mother: Well fine then, I wont clean your room, or your clothes, or your bed sheets, or anything! And I'm not giving you your Christmas present either!
Myself: Cop the forget on and stop being such a baby.
*Mother storms out*

That's exactly what happened. Now, although it pissed me off, I was in a fairly weak state (again, personal reasons) then and was a little more suspectable to getting annoyed. I was in a bad mood when I posted this, but have cheered up a little and have made it up with my mother. This happens a lot to me, usually around the time of my birthday and on special events.

G'luck, forums, and Merry Christmas.
