A USB cable is just a universal (hence the name "universal" serial bus") cable, so without software/drivers on each computer telling the other what to do with the cable, nothing would happen. It's likely that with the right software, you could use it for things like file transfer.

Well, you see... when two computer love each other very much, 1 computer tells the other one to get into bed, the other computer slowly takes her parts off, exposing her video card, hardrive, and 2 usb ports. The computer slowly slides its hard drive into the other computers hardrive. The 2 hard drives are diffrent, one takes heat and cooling from the usb ports, below its hard drive and the other dosnt need any
