Author Topic: Dedicated server not in list  (Read 1075 times)

This problem has been happening for a while now, and I was wondering if anyone had a solution. When I start my dedi up, it does everything fine, but it doesn't show up in the server list at all. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Did you forward your ports?

Did you forward your ports?

If you didn't, go here:
http://blockland.us/portforward/index.html

Also, it's not dedicated unless you run the Dedicated.bat file located in your blockland root.

If you have rtb, you need to let it connect to the rtb master server, too.

And finally, how to use dedicated.bat:

1. Open it with a text editor. (right click it and choose "Edit")
2. Where it says -map, change it from bedroom to whatever you like.
3. If you want rtb, i forgot how to enable that through dedicated.bat, but there's always google.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day,

I have portforwarded, and I have RTB set up with it, it worked fine a while ago, but now its not working at all.

Just keep messing with it. Mine occasionally doesn't work, and normally has no ping. Often people will have to refresh the server list for a few minutes for mine to appear (waiting for it to post to master server).

Now it's saying the authentication failed.

Had this problem before.

You have to join it by IP, then it'll start showing up on the list.

You may need to join your dedicated server once, since it's not in the server list, you may need to use the Connect to IP feature and connect to your server's IP (localhost).

o u.

Since it runs on the same LAN as you, you need to join it on LAN. To everyone else, it appears under Query Internet

Wrong. No matter if it's on the same LAN as you, the master server should at least display the server.
I already gave an answer.
