I am still confused. What are you talking about? lolz

This tutorial is still incredibly flawed because the OP completely left setting a manual address with DHCP and using a static IP out. Meaning anyone who was like me and has a dynamic IP is forgeted and this tutorial will not work for them.

If you're going to make a guide, do it right first.

1. AirPort is for wireless
2. If you want 10 players you forward port 28000, if you want 30 players you forward port 28000.
3. Leave the port at 28000
Adding on to what Kalphiter said: This tutorial isn't for macs. It's for an airport router. Not everyone who uses a mac owns an airport router. The thread title is misleading.

ITT: OP has no clue what he is doing

Ok, I'm sorry to those of you that see issues in the topic. I know the topic title is misleading, I was simply implying that it was a updated version of CrazyGoodDude's tutorial. This tutorial is just the way I figured out how to forward my ports. Therefore I assumed that it was the answer to many people's problems. I'm not saying that I am always right. I am probably wrong in some cases. But that doesn't mean that you have to flame me because of my small mistakes.

Yes, I clearly stated that I was changing my name from Burple to SPooK. Is that a surprise? I thought we where good friends Sandwich. :(

That's like saying,
"Teacher, I submitted my test and all my answers were wrong but I should get an A for doing my best"

Frankly, that's handicapped.

Also if you're going to write a tutorial, the idea is to base it on a large group of people and not yourself. The fact you have a static IP is because your parents probably set it. It doesn't come default. Therefore this tutorial only applies to maybe 10% of these airport router users. And 4 out of 5 of them probably know how to port forward because they managed to set a static IP.

Ok I'm sorry. Do you WANT me to lock the topic? I'm sorry that I caused this DISASTER. I was only trying to help. :( And the fact that I can't modify the topic makes it even worse.

It's not a disaster.

But I'd suggest locking it if you don't want a bunch of angry maccigarettes pming you saying that your tutorial made their internet break and they still can't host.

Alright. I see your point there. I'll just start making my next tutorial on how to create sounds for Blockland's event system. Which I have done before and absolutely know that it works. See ya.
