Need help with computer brightness

A monitor I used to use on my computer recently turned to stuff (a.k.a. BROKE). Now my parents got me this huge monitor that has a handicapped brightness level. Not too bright, but too dark. When I set the brightness to high, it's still stuffty. Anything I can do to enhance the brightness level?

There is more then one way to increase the brightness on your monitor. Give or take what kind of monitor you have, some monitors have brightness settings on them that you can ajdust with buttons on the monitor somewhere. Another hint would be to look in your computers power settings to see if you can change its brightness from there also. Look in your graphics settings for a brightness slide adjuster option or so.
