Prepaid card glitch?

forget I thought it was good at first but apparently it takes away 10 cents for every message i send to nonverizon. It added 10 dollars into my account, but it also said I already paid my verizon texting with it. Usually it should give me 250 nonverizon texts.
It says I added another month, but I still have the 10 dollars I'm supposed to use for it in my balance.
I had 2 days left to text verizon so I'm hoping after 2 days that I still can. I'm confused :c

We just use prepaid for whenever we have the money.
