Chapter 1: Introduction and first character.

You begin as Calvin Anvilshatter. A dwarf commoner in the Dwarven capital of Hellswept.

Your life is good. Drinking ale, dancing with friends and killing ogres. But lately the wildlife has been thin.

You are enlisted as a scout. The entire idea is pretty fishy, but just so long as it is justified to kill things, you're happy. As you burst through the tavern door to boast about your new occupation, you hear the sound of a gigantic explosion. The castle just blew to bits! Rubble and debris fly everywhere as everybody starts to panic. You draw your sword and head for what used to be the castle.

But what you see holds one of the worst moments you've experienced. You see Daemondfolk. Demons. And they don't take lightly to the sight of a dwarf with his weapons drawn towards them. Although you make a hasty retreat, you see your home before you destroyed by the red devils. You fall to the snowy ground, covered in sweat and tears.

You are equipped with these items:

Rugged Leather Helmet (+5)
Torn Cloth Jacket (+2)
Dirty Worn Leather Pants (+3)
Old Iron Boots (+8)

You are currently using (Momento Longsword) which provides an attack range of 7-12 damage. You're feeling exhausted and depressed.

You are already holding ale. You're not some pusillanimous individual gnome. You carry alcohol with you everywhere. And "emergency" stash, as you would say.
