anyways, my friend is trying to buy blockland with an AMEX gift card with $30 charged on it. she went to the site and it told her that the card was active, but when attempting to buy it via paypal it says something about the card being declined.
do AMEX gift cards need to be activated? I read the FAQ and it said nothing about activation, but it said you may need to wait up to 4 hours after the card was purchased. I tried manually activating it on the site for her but it said "we are currently experiencing technical difficulties try again later blablabla" and I figured it would be either exactly what it said (duh..) or you don't need to activate gift cards.
she tried buying it an hour ago, and again a few minutes ago. should I tell her to wait? anyone else used an AMEX gift card to buy blockland successfully?
