Or at least changing the file to make it some lower filesize.
I made some 5 minute video for youtube, and it ended up being some 132MB, which would take me a day to upload. (Yeah, fun) So, I was wondering if there was any way to compress it or anything?

I am using FRAPS, and I could re-record it through Windows Media Player (Durp) if needed.

That helps in no way, I use Windows Live Movie Maker anyways.
When I used WMM on my old computer, a movie this long would be something like 20MB, not 132. And my video is still low quality.

Import the video into your video editor than publish/export the video as another file type.

MP4 is usually the way to go. It's about 10mbs for a minute and the quality is still good.

Can only save it as a Windows Media Video file.
Any default or free programs that can convert it?

You can try a video converter like OJOSoft but it only converts like 20% of the video in it's "free" version.

What you can do is import the video into Windows Movie Maker. Add a blank image into the storyboard or something that would take up 80% of the video. Export. Convert that file. Hue :P

Isn't it the same thing?

Windows Live Essentials right? Also I would just buy a video editor. You should get mine, Corel Video Studio Pro X3. I think it's selling for 80 bucks right now. It's very lovey, can export many file types and can even do chroma key. (Green screen)
