Author Topic: fushigi is a fraud!!  (Read 1419 times)

Do you know why i say its a fraud? because they call it a "magical gravity ball". do they think were stupid?
1. magic aint real. its called optical illusion
2.gravity???if its anti gravity, shouldnt the military be using this kind of technology? i dont even think such technology exists
What are your thoughts?

My 9 year old cousin said this is what he wanted for his birthday, he saw the commercial where the ball is floating above its box and he literally thought that's what it did. It's a load of stuff and it's extremely handicapped

What? That thing on TV? It's just a mirror.

dont you mean this

It's called contact juggling (and shameless marketing ploys)

BUY THIS THING AND AMAZE YOUR FRIENDS with a skill that could take years to learn which can be done with any similar object

heres how it goes
lets take this like a replica of earth

crust:glass
mantle: more glass
outer core: light metal
inner core: gyroscope

reel with it

It's not necessarily a fraud, however the TV spot and video testimonials are complete bullstuff, and have horrible acting. It even says on their website that the Fushigi ball is made for the activity of, as Eksi said, contact juggling. It doesn't make you any better at contact juggling, it's simply a really cool ball to use for contact juggling. You can clearly tell in the video testimonials that all the people they're paying to say "Awesome!" or "Fushigi!" or "Mesmerizing!" or "<insert positive remark about the ball here>" have little or no contact juggling experience, which is why you only see them on camera for about 1-2 seconds, if that, while the people wearing Fushigi shirts are noticeable experts at it, hence why they're almost always on camera.

So no, it's not a fraud, you just need to read the fine print, which, in essence, isn't really all that "fine." It's not really even a gimmick, it's just another option for something to use in contact juggling.

Eksi: have you heard of fushigi
Irsan: I've heard of fugu
Eksi: fushigi is a glass ball
Eksi: they make it look like an anti-gravity thing
Irsan: Oh, that.
Irsan: Overpriced
Eksi: the advertisement shows a bunch of people waving it around and everyone's like UUUUU IT'S SO FUN AND GREAT AND I'M BEING PAID TO SAY THIS
Irsan: Just an illusion.
Eksi: It's called contact juggling
Eksi: and it can be done with any ball
Irsan: IT'S CALLED WAVING IT AROUND
Irsan: Since it's glass.
Irsan: You can't tell that it's rotating.
Eksi: It's still bullstuff advertising.
Irsan: It's called advertising.
Irsan: ;D

Kudos to those of you who know to whom he's talking.

No stuff, ya think so?

There is no gyro, the center of gravity is in the middle. It's acrylic and plastic, not glass that would be holy stuff heavy.
