Author Topic: Blender 64bit vs. DTS exporter  (Read 931 times)

Before my old laptop broke, I had blender in the 32-bit version. My new laptop is 64bit, and the exports it produces crash the game. And all links to new DTS exporters seem to have broken too. None on the Blender website, and the link in DarkStar's tutorial also doesn't work. I've been scripting and mounting the models the exact same way I've done with other add-ons, the ones I made that work.'

Anyone got compatible links?

Latest functional .dts exporter for Blender as of February 2011: http://mirror.dataorb.net/BlenderDTloveporter_097beta3.zip
Tested and working with 64-bit Blender and 64-bit Windows 7.

Also, it only works on Blender 2.49.

Don't export models for Blockland with a 64-bit Blender.
Blockland doesn't run in 64-bit you know....

How on earth would exporting the model with a 64-bit modeling program affect the model itself in any way?

Argh, it still doesn't work. Thanks for the help anyway Demian.

But still, how does that work? Blockland runs fine on my 64bit computer

Your 64bit computer runs Blockland in 32bit mode.

Well, mine does anyway...

I had this problem too. I solved it by switching to the 32-bit version of Blender. So right now, I'm on a 64-bit Win7 system with the 32-bit Blender and I can export models which seem to work more or less.

Yes, but that isn't relevant to how blender should be run.

I did exactly what Barnabas did. Problem solved.
