I was talking with a friend about the World Wars, not sure about how we got on this topic, but I thought i'd see what the forums had to contribute to the conversation! Let's get some good 'ol fashion discussion going!

The world wars were not good wars :c

And if you think about it
Carson Beck 6:04 PM
Well duh, no wars were good wars

Except religious wars

Friend 6:04 PM
O u

But

the world wars

Were two of the most pointless wars ever fought

Carson Beck 6:04 PM
True

They were so stupid, in so many ways.
Friend 6:05 PM
It was mostly political

Carson Beck 6:05 PM
Yet...they're the most known

Friend 6:05 PM
Most soldiers fighting hardly even wanted to

Their nationalistic views weren't half what their political leaders's were

I mean

When they weren't fighting, it wasn't uncommon for them to come out of trenches, or the given war area they were on

And play games with each other

During holidays they exchanged gifts

During funnerals they had armstance o:

It is a shame someone didn't decide that it was time to end it

Carson Beck 6:07 PM
Yeah, it's like...two families parent's hate each other so they make their kids fight each other while they make faces at the other family. When they're not fighting, the kids play games

So many died for the stupidest reasons

Friend 6:08 PM
But then, many wars are like that :c

People don't realise how truly blessed they are

Or they overestimate it o:

You should be in government

Carson Beck 6:09 PM
Damn i just missed that

Friend 6:10 PM
Nah

What is the government going to do? It's us. They may call the orders, but we decide to listen

Carson Beck 6:11 PM
I suppose. But some governments don't care what we the people think, they do what THEY think is best. In that case, I'd probably trust you the most in charge.

Friend 6:11 PM
:3

Anarchy is an interesting system

And it can work

On small scale

Very smale scale

Carson Beck 6:11 PM
On large scale it's....just a bad idea.

Friend 6:11 PM
Miniscule scale

Gilligan's Island

That worked out just fine

Carson Beck 6:12 PM
However, the participants have to be matured at the very least. Not too radical.

Friend 6:12 PM
It needs the right culture

That's where many of the problems lie

Carson Beck 6:12 PM
Lord of the Flies is a perfect example of how it can't work with certain people, radicals hungry for power, or immaturity in the people that makes for disrespect and stuff

Friend 6:12 PM
The culture

I prefer King of the Centipedes

Add what you will, avoid rashly attacking people, because I'm just curious about your input.
