Author Topic: Port Forwarding on a D-link 655  (Read 1921 times)

Router doesn't save any of the data going through it.
I know it doesn't save it, but since it un-encrypts it after it comes through the wireless, it could send a copy of all incoming and outgoing data to another place

Ok, on that lmgtfy, I found a facepunch page. It said to go to the link you listed, and look up half life 2, because Gmod apparently wasn't on there. (I searched for it, it's not there) Should I do Half Life 2 Steam, HL2 Steam Server, or both?
eww static IP.
checking.... Have it.
It says i'm in Buckner, Illinois. Weird.

Whatever, i'll just do the steam server.

Gah forget. Port checker says it's not open.
ANy help?

start>run>type "cmd">type "ipconfig">put that IP into the portforwarding utility.  You probably used your external IP, not your local IP (it would be something like 192.168.1.107).

If you're not sure on what ports to forward, put all of the options in.  Or just use DMZ, which basically forwards all ports to one computer.
