Author Topic: Help Steve Find a Good Processor and Graphics Card. c:  (Read 398 times)

I recently got my gaming PC back from my dad, but it's become outdated in all this time. I cannot play the newest games. I can only play GTA IV at lowest settings and shadows off for a decent frame-rate.
Can Blockland Forums help me get a processor and graphics card that will allow me to play games like GTA IV and more at 50FPS > for under $200? :o

CPU:

Graphics Card:

I've also got 3 gigs of RAM, but that should be okay enough. If I have enough left over, I will get some more.

Perhaps $200 could afford the equipment to steal a graphics card like that... マホ~

I found this after some Googling.

Would this fit and give me good gaming performance?

Why no one help me?
Bump.

I think your graphics card is fine, however I am not an expert with those.
I'd recommend some new Intel processor, but the prices exceed your budget.

If its that old you can't upgrade the processor because the slot type will be different.

As for video card, as long as the slots on the mother board are PCI E. 2.0 any should work.

The slot is AM2 940
That should fit some.
It's actually only a couple years old. Do you think that processor is a good one I posted?
