How do you make items cost points?

In a minigame you get points for doing stuff.  (No stuff!)  So I trying to make a brick when you click on it it subtracts points and gives you a item.  Can I do this with default events?  If yes or no, how?

I found out I need VCE events which I have but I have no Idea how to use.

Yea, you need VCE.Its better to find out how to use it on youtube instead of the VCE client thingy

Thanks, I used youtube.  Only I didn't find out the way to subtract points, but I created my own currency which I will hide around the map and make it disappear and give you money when you click it.  Thanks again!
