I have stayed quiet for too long. Now it's time for me to show up in the forums after all these years of lurking.
I am Spade (ID: 562) formerly known as Space Man/Spede. I have a brother that doesn't talk much. I have "Purp" clan tags and the "yellow" Spade
has no clan tags. We might be getting own ids sometime...
You may have seen servers like Spade's Games, Spade's Arcade #x. Those are servers by me, I like making games in Blockland.
Servers like Spade's Desert Town TDM are by my brother. He likes doing other things (also games). In this topic I will tell how i began making games.
I will also ask why nobody makes games in Blockland anymore.

How I started making gamesIt all started back in v9 when we got events. Nearly all servers were eventing servers and there was a massive chaos with them.
Everyone was wondering "Hey, how did you that?". After the first servers i already learned how to do a light switch and some disappearing doors,
but it just felt boring. I mean, wow lights and doors so what.
Then i joined this one eventing server, I saw Badspot there so i decided to stay for a while. When I spawned confusion came to Me.
I saw all these boxes with button things and things inside, then I realized that they were games.
I went to test some of the games and I was amazed that you can do things like this with events. After that I came to Badspot's baseplate. I saw him
building a box which read: "Space Four". He was testing the game from time to time and I was totally amazed. The games point was to shoot
4 (or 3 cant remember) ships before they fill up the whole sky. I decided to look at the back of the game and saw this complex looking thing
with multiple print bricks and other stuff.
The next day i decided to put my skills on the test and made a game where you dodge pongs.
It turned out to be decent and I loved making it and solving all problems with clever ways. Then some versions passed and we got to the point
where I began to host a simple "Spade's Games" server... (after that came all the arcades and stuff.)
Why nobody makes games anymore in Blockland?It seems that people have forgot games in Blockland. People come to my server and ask "What kind of games?", probably expecting minigames or so.
When they see a game they are amazed and "wow".
So i decided to go to random servers. I didn't see any games anywhere. Maybe i went to wrong kind of servers. Maybe i live in the wrong timezone.
Maybe i didn't look enough. But for me it seems that no one makes games in Blockland anymore.

There are some expeditions like ANT, Jam Jar, Paradox and some others who had made games but I'd like to see more game servers with games.
Not just some random spam everywhere.
Making games is not necessarily hardPeople usually like to think that making games is hard in blockland.
Making games in Blockland is really easy once you get the hold of it. Try experimenting with events and different things and see if you can make a decent game out of it.
After that you can start making better games. More effects. Better sounds. Music.
Try always to be somewhat original in your creations. If you can't be original then you should try improving old ideas.
