I was on Animefreak watching some Azumanga and listening to the Homestuck soundtrack when my computer alerts me of malicious content. This program, MS removal tool, pops up,
GUI and everything. It looks pretty professional. It's saying all this stuff like I've been infected with 38 viruses and a keylogger and very bad things. Now, if I were stupid, I'd be scared, but I'm not, because I'm very aware of the threat of fake virus programs. But, my mother told me we ran out of McAfee protection, so I'm a little worried.
Should I ignore it, or should I take some action? Thanks.
