All you do is pay for the card plus the amount you want on it, then use it like a credit card online, and once its empty its useless and you can throw it away. No worry about getting money stolen / having your details leaked.

Actually a friend of mine retrieved those statistics (plus or minus 5-10 percent) via a lua script. Technically a virus because it was infectious, but he collected gamedata, not for malicious intent.
