Author Topic: Screen Recording Software?  (Read 529 times)

I'm just wondering what there is besides Fraps. Is there anything out there that's better or cheaper?

I found a great screen recorder that actually has good quality. It's called Krut. It runs on Java so it work on most all operating systems, and is very simply and easy to use. http://krut.sourceforge.net/
Also records sound for Windows 7, which most I've used don't, and you can change the frame rate to what you want.

Hypercam 3

hypercam 3 doesn't record games. Plus the quality is stuff.

neat
does it have an annoying watermark though?

I've used CamStudio before, it's fully free and even open source, and works pretty well if you have a powerful enough processor. It also allows for timelapse videos.
