So, I launched GMOD, and when I spawned, a few seconds after, I got BSOD'd. It was because of my GPU, because I saw the name on it.

My PC sucks.

A few months ago I use to get blue screens once about every 3 days. I had absolutely no idea what caused them but they suddenly stopped. I haven't had a blue screen in like a month and a half now.

If it was entirely your GPU, your PC would've frozen and the screen would've been all distorted in some way.

It's probably a driver problem, update your drivers. I should start saying this more often.

Garry's Mod menu had black lines, but the BSOD was my intergrated card.

GPUs can BSOD. I had an 6800XT be the cause of BSODs because of a cyclic redundancy check or something, along with corrupt RAM.

I was running with the default card drivers, because it works the best for me.

Bump.
It seems pre-orangebox engine works, but OrangeBox engine doesn't. I also found this quote.
"First off, Intel graphics and Orange Box engine (Garry's Mod's engine) do NOT get along."

Also, it's not capable of handling it with the specs. I have. I can't upgrade because I don't get money and my parents wouldn't let me upgrade/buy a new PC. so I'm out of luck.

Plus, how do you replace an integrated card?

I'm 11 and I'm talking about upgrading my computer. Go figure.

EDIT: Well, with my specifications, I would have to buy a new PC, because it would be pointless to upgrade a everything, rather than buy a brand new one, and replace a few things. Getting a new computer and upgrading it is out of the question, so I'm going to have to stick to Wii and DS gaming. :/

this happens to me, except my computer just shuts down, no blue screen. but I dunno if it was GPU or whatever :v

Well, my PC did that before, but it was just a black screen and the sound that it makes when you hold the power button and it shutdown without logging out. They are BSoD's, but it's just a blank screen. You can't do anything except power off.
