DirectX error - forget you

So i'm trying to reinstall Red Alert 2 onto my Computer (Windows XP Media Center, should work as it's compatible with home), and whenever i begin the bootup it gives me the T&C and i accept after reading, and then DirectX says "the action cannot be supported"
