Prologue: ALL QUOTES

Chapter 1: NO QUOTES
Hey, I'm working on more of it, ok?
It will have quotes.

Once upon a time, in the far-away land of Chininthius, there lived a man. His name was Tyrannus. His personality was nothing like that of his name. No, not at all.

This is never explained.

He lived in a small hut alone by himself. He had no neighbors, and he was a quiet man. Kept to himself, mostly. Now this man was about to embark on a quest.
As the kids say nowadays, an epic quest.

I don't care what the kids say.

He needed to find some rare bluefower seeds.

Why?

Many have asked him ‘why do you need those seeds?’ None have received an answer.

forget you.

Maybe he uses them to cook up dinner? Maybe he might use them for evil spells and witchcraft. Whatever he uses them for, we don’t know.
Well maybe you should stop being lazy and actually tell us.

In order for his bluefower seeds, he would need to travel to the far coast of Karnee. Karnee was a vicious and horrible country, much unlike Chininthius. Savage beasts lived in Karnee.

Savage beasts!

uch as the vicious black wolf, or the occasional poison-spreading acid-sputters. Other mythical creatures also dwelled in Karnee.
Werewolves, vampires, and sometimes the occasional- Tyrannus shuddered. He need not talk about it in this book.

What the heck is this crap? Did you just think of a bunch of scary monsters and throw them all in one place for plot convenience?

Tyrannus finished packing his backpack, grabbed his walking stick, and set out the door. It was going to be a long week.
As Tyrannus set his foot outside the door, he smelled the fresh air and enjoyed it. If he was going to die, he might as well smell the fresh air before doing so.
What’s the point of dying if you have nothing to remember your life? He wanted to remember freedom.
Ah, the feeling of freedom. Much to remember about that. Tyrannus ran through the fields, laughing and rolling.
He wanted to remember this. He wanted to remember his life. He didn’t want to forget one second of his life.
Tyrannus got up and brushed the grass off his tunic. He might as well start his quest now. He screamed with joy as he set out to embark on his quest, running across the beautiful field.

Is this some attempt at being deep and philosophical? It's not working.

Little did he know, dark eyes were watching him.

Surely not an acid-sputter!?

End (so far)
Thank heavens.

Otis I agree with all of that and love you more than ever now.

So let me wrap this all up.
I suck?
Edit : Might as well lock this.
