Argh, after a wonderful week of sitting in lounge chairs, drinking chocolate milkshakes, I have returned to blog about my fabutastic trip to Puerto Vallarta!
Well first of all, my first major airplane trip, was fun. Satelittle TV and all the soda you can drink. Fun. Plus FREE cookies. Arriving in Mexico was a bit odd though, with the majority of the airport being filled with timeshare people and taxi drivers wanting to drive you.
The resort was nice. All inclusive, with explains the milkshakes, and a bunch of fancy places to eat. My favourite was a seafood place called the Oceania. It also had a pretty cool waiter there named Sergio. (If you're reading this right now Sergio, thanks for the cheesecake!)
I went on some interesting tours, and I'll explain in order:
Canopy Adventure
Oh god, the funnest yet also the worst.
My first mexican truck ride over 30 minutes was horrible. It the truck was interesting, however, we sat in the back which was elevated 3 feet off the ground, and taking corners at 70km/h within 1 foot of a 100+ foot drop. Not fun. But after the scary truck ride, there it was fun. over 1000m of ziplines is fun, plus a freefall into a water pool (which was VERY cold), and repelling down a waterfall.
Las Caletas
Most, boring. It was a very nice beach, with scuba diving, and LOTS of pufferfish and stingrays. However that was fun for olny a certain amount of time, but near the end you could have your picture taken with a parrot and monkey. At the same time!
Good food though.
Dolphin Swim Experience
My favourite, I got to swim with teh dolphins and and pet them. Also I kissed one.
Well I might answer some questions here. They don't smell like fish, and they are not slimy like fish. But they are so cute, and I want one.
They swim fast when you grab onto their fins. (of course, when the trainer says you can). Best 45 minutes of my life. Also a sea lion gave me a kiss too.
I have more to post about, but it is already 0:22 in the morning. (12:22 for you non-mexicans), I'll edit things later.
