As you may know, I have this old, old dell computer where the only 2 good things it has are hard drive space and a decent processor. Thing is, this hard drive has a bunch of "important stuff" on it, and it runs so slow that we can't use it without it freezing up.

So, I was wondering if there is anyway to hook up this computer to my current one, where I can use it as a new hard drive, and if possible, use whatever processing power it has. It seems possible for the hard drive part, but it has nice little bit of GHz that would help me dearly with recording things.

Depending on the amount of sata or ide ports you have on your other computer you might be able to connect the hard drive into the other computer.

It depends on the ports of the hard drive and what ports are available on your current computer.

You can do so if:
It depends on the ports of the hard drive and what ports are available on your current computer.
They match up.
