Ender's Game Series. The first book is more for kids, but the rest is holy forget complicated Science fiction.

1945: Red Inferno. It's historical fiction. :D WWII

1901. More historical fiction. WWI

Artemis Fowl is for kids, but it's still pretty badass.

Angels and Demons: Okay, loving best book ever.

The Da Vinci Code: Second book from above series. Still loving awesome.

The Lost Symbol: Third book, really great.
