Author Topic: Since ROBLOX has brick physics, shouldn't Torque and Lua switch places?  (Read 2861 times)

Also, I'm pretty sure the current engine could handle this, Badspot just didn't do it. Really, we don't need it.

That is a horrible reason, server side physics would be a great addition to Blockland if they could be implemented without any problems.

By that argument, Blockland shouldn't have any deathmatches.
nit i love you but OP wants realistic physics so that bricks will fall if they're not supported enough. what do DMs have to do with that?

It's a building game, not a killing game, i guess.

When physics came out, I played around with it for a week thinking it was neat. After the 'hype' wore off, I turned physics off as it added little to gameplay and whored framerates.
Why anyone would want "More" physics is beyond me.

The reason why I quit Roblox is because the scripting is impossible for me to learn.

Lua is a scripting language not a game engine.
(...recreate *to use* lua...)

DMs/killing have almost nothing to do with brick physics, though.

Lua is a scripting language.  It has nothing to do with physics.

This entire topic is just non sequiturs and grossly uninformed arguments.

Locking.
