Author Topic: Where do I place custom prints?  (Read 1012 times)

I want to make my own prints and have looked in the C:\Program Files\Blockland file but cannot find anything labeled "Prints". Does anyone know where this folder is?

If you packaged it correctly, then it goes in C:\Program Files\Blockland\Add-Ons

I can't package it as I don't have the right software it seems.

You don't need software to package things, just put it in Add-Ons and see if it works.

Oh God...

You're stupid.

You don't need any downloaded software, as all you need does come with Windows.
You have to have the print (which I believe is 256x256?) and a thumbs folder with a smaller version of the image (100x100?) in it.
I'm probably thinking of decals, but I think they're nearly the same, except for the required .cs file and all.

Forgot to mention that all of the files need to be compressed in a .zip file, then put into your add-ons folder.

Which requires a software.

No, you just right click, select new, make a compressed folder, place the stuff in it, and your done.

Right click, select Send to "name.zip".

That's only true for people that don't have Windows 7 or Windows Vista... I don't think XP comes with zipping capabilities. But heck, I wouldn't know.

I think my brain just imploded.

I think my brain just imploded.

How?

I'll explain it better. When you download an add-on, whether it be a gun or a print, it comes as, "Weapon_Gun.zip" or as "Print_Face.zip" (These are just crappy examples.) Find that file, go to your Blockland folder and place it in the folder labeled "Add-Ons"
