Getting TF2, what Frames per Second should I expect?

I have a similar graphics chipset to yours - I have to run on DX8.1 and medium settings and I get a decent framerate. Most servers with more than 16 players are generally unplayable.

It should work fine I'd suggest some settigns at low-medium and see how well it runs, if it's able to run that smoothly try higher settings.
