Author Topic: Increasing FPS in TF2 without horrible graphics?  (Read 1366 times)

(2 topic with in 10 minutes :o)

On TF2, I only get about 10 to 15 fps, and 4 - 9 when a lot is going on.

I found a CFG, it works really good, but the graphics are horrible.

I also can't upgrade at the time being, and I might get a new computer this Christmas.

So, what are ways to squeeze more FPS out of Team Fortress 2 without having horrible graphics or upgrading?

Eat some GIGA GIGA pudding.

It makes the computer run for its life.

What are your current specs? You're probably just running on integrated graphics and only need a graphics card, not a whole new computer.

Prime your load catches and boost your desktop wallpaper.

Didn't you say that last time when someone had a computer problem? :c

Nothing of the sort.

Get a new computer.

You sure can read well.

I chose to ignore that since there's nothing else he can do to increase FPS.

Actually there are many possible ways, but they are challenging to the limit he'll blast his loving brain off.

I found a good CFG. I'll keep this unlock if I need to post in it again.

Get horrible graphics or get low FPS your choice.

He'll need a new computer anyway.

You can't change the graphics card unless it's dedicated.

If he's only got integrated graphics, he can install a graphics card into a PCI-E slot and use it.
