Lolno. XP uses 1.5 gigs at most, not counting the page file.
Anyway, HDDs are pretty cheap these days, so get a new one.

I tried to install Win7 on the PC, but I got code 5 error.  Win7 is on that hard drive and I'm not sure what will happen when I use it.

Go partitioning! C is the operating system among other things, while X is used as storage for research.

FUN FACT
The X drive was going to be a Windows 98 dual-boot partition. Windows XP decided otherwise.
