Author Topic: Something wrong with my Monitor?  (Read 514 times)

Ok so. I start up my computer, it loads, then when the Computer Monitor comes on, I'm greeted with nothing but a black screen, and it doesn't progress on from there. The monitor is on, plugged in, ect.

Is it something serious? Or is it something easily fixable?

Can you hear the windows startup sound?

Not even, and I swear to god my speakers are plugged in and in perfect condition.

Did you recently install/upgrade windows?

Did you install any new drivers recently?

I havent installed anything At all in the past month.

Try running it in safemode.

But who was phone? Maybe you should google what happens and see if there's a result, plus by the sounds of it your screen is dead.

Buy a new monitor, or try pressing some buttons on it, and try and find one labeled "PC" because you may be in the wrong display mode depending on your monitor maker or model/make.
