Isnt doom 2 abandonware?

No. It's still being sold on Steam but like I said it's complete crap.

Just buy it for the data files and run it through Skulltag or ZDooM.

If you like classic games, loving try Descent 3. Released in 1999, still one of the best games I own.

I saw DooM at a yardsale like 2 years ago for like, 2.50.

I thought it looked like crap because back then I was obsessive over Call of Duty.

Meh, not into those kind of games.

Go check out Wolfenstein 3D's hardest difficulty, it's really just an enemy increase and slight damage icnrease, I bet you'd go right through it.

At least that's what I experienced.

Ten dollars on Steam but the Steam version is complete crap. I actually have the original game for Windows 95.

I would recommend getting the steam version just for the data files then running it through a port like Skulltag or ZDooM.
The steam version is the original .exe run though DOS box.

So of course it's crap.

I've ran vanilla DooM and I still find it fun, I just heard that the Steam build was poorly made.
