Author Topic: Guns Mount in the wrong way.  (Read 700 times)

Hello, Notice in the following pictures that the gun is turned side-ways, I have no idea why and thats why im posting this. just to let you know i've had this problem since i started modeling for blockland. But i have found ways of getting around it, But its such a hassle can anyone explain in-depth whats causing these errors?

Thanks. There isn't much use for curves in blockland. Even demian said that. [fyi that model took 6 hours of non-stop work :D]

I did the fix, I don't think it works for blenderv2.49, It may be that i just have to upgrade.

Select your model and armatures in object mode. Now press Ctrl + A and select Location, Rotation and Scale one after the other. This not only fixes lighting problems but also incorrect model rotation in-game. (Ie. Holding a gun wrong way around with the barrel pointing at you.)

Update: I FIXED IT!! I retraced my steps on that tutorial by demian and it remounted correctly, [Also re-did it in the new 2.57 of blender.]
Picture says all!!





I guess i have to thank demian for his epic tutorial, saved me the huge hassle!
