Whenever I put in my wireless mouse it will twitch back and forth to each side of the screen. I cant get it in the middle. I have to take it out and use the mousepad. Any clue whats going on?

What surface are you putting your mouse on without the mousepad? Also, I'm assuming it's an optical/laser mouse?

Is the chair arm a smooth or bumpy surface? Were you using it without the mousepad earlier? Because a bumpy surface might make it difficult for it to be precise.
