What you don't understand is the sheer amount of power required to go into this.
The average computer would take YEARS to mine successfully. It doesn't happen overnight
My computer on it's own does 30 million hashes per second, I mine a share successfully about once every 3-5 minutes. While my computer is above average, it wouldn't classify as a supercomputer.
