Author Topic: Does ANYONE know how to port forward correctly on a Westell 7500 router.  (Read 1834 times)

I have tried and tried and I can never get my ports forward with this stupid router. We got it when we got centurylink and this thing will not open ports. I do all the stuff correctly and it still won't open ports.

Does anyone know how to correctly open ports on this router?

(yes, I did also allow the port in windows firewall)

http://portforward.com/
Find your model there and the game you want to port forward

My model is not on there, but there is one close to it.
Also ace of spades is not on there.

>Go to IP (Most likely 192.168.2.1 or 1.1)
>Go to Virtual servers, or servers, or something
>Fill info in

Game usually doesn't matter. Just pick a random game for the right router and you should be good.

I've done what they say and no one can join the server for the game.
I can't find any thing like what jorici said.

Forward 38227 UDP.
wait.

Aww dang it I've been using the wrong ports.

Nope, it didn't work either.
What I am doing wrong?

It has to be the same port your blockland server is running. Go into advanced options in start game and see which port, if its not there start a dedicated server, it will say the port at the start. Default is 28000, i think
